Congressional Treason

The LA Times has the story of the latest BS coming out of the congressional Democrats. This time it's the senior Democratic member of the House Defense Appropriations Committee heard undermining our efforts in public:

WASHINGTON -- Signaling heightened opposition to the war in Iraq from a corner of long-standing support for the military, Rep. John Murtha, a conservative Pennsylvania Democrat, said today the United States should immediately begin to bring its troops home.

Murtha, the senior Democrat on the House Defense Appropriations subcommittee, said the U.S. military forces should be withdrawn as quickly as possible, which could be accomplished within six months. He called for maintaining a rapid-deployment force in the region.

I think that Murtha, like the other chicken shit members of the Republican and Democratic parties, is displaying incredibly bad judgment in criticizing the war with our troops in harms way. It's not like he's talking in a vaccum or singing by himself in the shower.

Of course he waits until the President is in Asia to do it. It obviously makes President Bush's trip less productive and effective if he has to spend all of his time answering the questions raised by reporters covering the news here at home.

The BBC already has more of the story:

"Our troops have become the primary target of the insurgency, they are united against US forces, and we have become a catalyst for violence," Mr Murtha said at an emotional news conference in Washington.

"US troops are the common enemy of the Sunnis, the Saddamists, and the foreign jihadists... I believe we need to turn Iraq over to the Iraqis," he said.

The Malaysia Star continues:

"The U.S. cannot accomplish anything further in Iraq militarily. It is time to bring them home," said Rep. John Murtha of Pennsylvania, a senior Democrat on the subcommittee that oversees military spending.

The Swiss know, Australia knows, New Zealand knows, and they've heard in Kuwait.

I think this behavior is completely unacceptable.

Hurrah for all of the partisan, chicken shit Congressmen, Democrat and Republican.

I hope they're happy when we pull out and Baghdad falls like Sigon did in the early 1970's.

Imbecils...
