President Bush kept his cool and walked out to the news conference tonight with John G. Roberts, Jr.

They each spoke briefly in making the announcement, then turned and walked away without taking any questions from the audience and reporters.

That is about as close as the President could come to flinging a finger at the press and Senator Chuck Shumer who immediately started criticizing the appointment.

I'm still extremely pissed off that the nomination was leaked, and if Congress wants to do an investigation on leaks, forget Karl Rove, I want to know who the hell leaked this item this evening.
