Sunrise On St. Simons Island

I peeked out the front door of the condo a little after 6 AM this morning and was greeted by a really nice pink sky with a few clouds in the east—a preface to sunrise.

I know a good sunrise when I see one coming...

I’m always bragging about my Cannon G3 digital camera, so this morning I grabbed it and walked outside to see what images I could capture for "posterity.”

Here’s the result, looking east across the marsh as the sun rises over Sea Island...
