Continuing on my theme of media bias and crap, check out the headline on this story about the new Iraqi government:
Iraqis finally form a government
By Sharon Behn
THE WASHINGTON TIMES
April 29, 2005
Iraq established its first democratically elected government in five decades yesterday after months of political wrangling and growing street violence and assassinations.
Yet Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari was forced to leave five key ministries in the hands of "caretaker" ministers, indicating that the battle for influence in the new Cabinet is not over.
These biased "media professionals" just can't admit that things are moving forward in Iraq.
After nearly fifty years of military dictatorship by Sadam and his predecessors and almost two years of coalition intervention, the Iraqis held elections in January. So what if it took them nearly three months to put together a cabinet?
They "finally" establish a government...GIVE ME A BREAK HERE, PLUUEASE!
What does the Washington Post expect? We can't even get judicial nominations and social security reform here in the US after 52 months of the Bush presidency because of partisan bickering.
I'd say the Iraqis are doing pretty good, even by US standards.
